We love learning and transmit this love and enthusiasm to children.

Eliana Perifanou

co-founder of Greek LAB

I am an actor and theatrologist. I graduated with distinction from the University of Patra, with a postgraduate degree from Goldsmiths University of London, MA Applied Theater: Drama in Educational, Community and Social Context.

I acquired experience through general and special educational exposure, promoting mainly the experiential method of teaching.

In 2016 I founded a theatrical workshop for children as well as other types of cultural and educational events in Petries, Evia.

Since 2017, I have co-directed with Vassilis Oikonomou Sophocles’ “Antigone” with the group THE.AM.A, then written and directed the children’s performances “Narcissus & Echo and other transformations” at the theater “Ex Machina”, and “Our fairy tale, a Musician, a Μagpie and a Beaver “at the ISON theater, raising awareness to children about disability in Greece.

Currently , I work in SEN schools in London, while doing educational and theatrical projects- experiential workshops in both Greece and the UK.

In 2020, together with Ester Amgkar, we created the educational platform Greek Lab, where we teach Greek through experiential education, online and in person to a wide range of students – infants, children, teenagers and adults – around the world.
